Election Day 3

Yes folks. It is day 3 of the election. Are you feeling overwhelmed? Do you feel as though you are carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders? It is tough time in history and it seems it is dragging….and by dragging it is dragging us down too!

The ocean is a great place to decompress. Take time for yourself to walk, run, skip, or build a sand castle. Yoga isn’t for everybody. We know this. I am letting you in on a big secret.

The beach is free.

It holds space for you to be you, whatever that is. Move, use the space to stop the normal routine and life’s rat race to stop and go within. Lots to do here.  Pass a football, smile at a stranger, walk,  or dance. Releasing the negativity of this damn drawn out election may just be what you need.

“Elections belong to the people. It’s their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters.”  ― Abraham Lincoln

We are neighbors, families, co workers, loved ones, mothers, fathers, military soldiers, teachers, lawyers, clerks. At the end of the election we live together and in the same place we call United States. It is a long frustration situation.  We get it. The stress we are bringing to ourselves is not necessary.

Go to the beach and play! It’ll be over soon.
